If You Find a Dead Bird on Campus

DO THE FOLLOWING:

1. If the bird is not decomposed and you can tell if it is a Crow or Blue Jay:

Call Tim Tyler, Health and Safety, at ext. 5459.

The Health Department dead animal pick-up division at 324 – 5547 will be contacted regarding disposition of the dead Crow or Blue Jay. This number should be utilized for any dead crow or blue jay found at home or in your neighborhood

2. All other dead birds will be properly picked up and disposed of by our Physical Plant staff utilizing proper personal protective equipment.
